A Bittersweet Taste
It's only about two and half more weeks until we will be moving into our new apartment. A bittersweet taste is left behind. I am going to miss the walks along the lake and running along the trails in the forest when the sun is about to set and the heat settles like layers of dust. But most of all, I am going to miss this place of which we have called home for two years. Home is not simply a place, but one where boundless memories are created and where happiness, love, and sadness lingers. Change is inevitable for things must transform for the future to come. But a home can be anywhere, in a bustling city or in a cottage by the sea or a cabin in the forest, because a home is more than a place.

Sprinkles of fairy dust in a summer's glow
We took these pictures really late evening so I thought they would be too dark, but the light turned out to be amazing! I really need to invest in a tripod and remote soon so I can have some pictures of me and the boy. My little brother came to visit us for a week so we were lucky to get these shots from him. And I don't know if you can tell, but I definitely have a farmer's tan. My arms and calves are darker than my face (due to wearing long skirts and hats).
I hope you all are enjoying summer and the beautiful weather!
