Summer Dew

Now that I look back, I'm terribly upset at myself that I did not accomplish half of the things I wanted to do last summer. The time spent waiting and waiting just got lost and withered away. Even though the failings and the falls hurt, it is getting back up that matters most. So this summer shall be different. I'm going to make a list and actually plan for it rather than just waiting spontaneously for the right moment because sometimes those right moments don't necessarily come at you. A lot of the times, we must create a situation for the moment to occur in. And of course, planned events run much smoother and are more likely to happen than spontaneous ones.

Summer has not yet officially begun so we still have plenty of time to plan ideas and events. Do you all have your fabulous summer plans and events set?

I am quite behind on posting and I'm terribly sorry for that. I wanted to create a new layout, but it was taking such a long time so this will serve as a temp.

A Little Piece of the Sun

This was taken a few days before we had a few inches of snow. I was starting to get worried that it was already January and there was no snow on the ground, but temperatures dropped and snowflakes fell. Even so, there's has been relatively little snow compared to past winters. But perhaps that's a good thing for now since I have yet to get some snow boots.

A Time For Change

I decided to change the blog just a bit because a little change is good. It's not to my complete liking but I'm rather lazy to learn the CSS codes so this will do for now. And I also changed the blog title as well. I feel that .cacophonic musings encompasses my thoughts and interests more than my former title, which was not personable at all.

What's new for 2012? The biggest thing is I've started the 365 Project, but I have been sick so I haven't uploaded the first few photos of 2012 until now. If you're not familiar with it, it's basically you take a picture every day and then upload it. By taking a picture every day, you can allow yourself to see things from different perspective and to ultimately improve your composition and photographs. Of course, many people garner different experiences from this project, but I hope this will be my experience. You can check out this project at my flickr.
